The 55+ BC Games in Nanaimo will be a highlight for seniors in the region, offering a variety of sports and activities for participants. Registration for the event is open from April 1 to June 15, 2025, and it is the largest annual multi-sport event for the 55+ population in British Columbia. The event aims to provide an opportunity for seniors to discover new passions and enjoy the thrill of friendly competition.
Seniors can look forward to participating in a wide variety of sports and activities at these events, fostering connections and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
For those interested in the Canada 55+ Games, it is important to note that the event has been postponed to 2028 due to funding challenges and rapid growth in participation. The Canada 55+ Games, held every two years, promote physical, social, and mental well-being for seniors aged 55+.
