Group Health Benefits Effective January 1, 2022 the Plan Partners and the Municipal Pension Board of Trustees changed the governance of post retirement group benefits (PRGB). Your extended health and dental benefits are now provided through the Municipal Retiree Benefit Trust (MRBT). The MRBT is an employee life and health trust as defined under the Income Tax Act. Pacific Blue Cross continues to be the benefit administrator for your extended health and dental benefits. If you have questions about benefit coverage please contact Pacific Blue Cross pac.bluecross.ca. If you have questions about enrolment or changes to your dependent/beneficiary please contact British Columbia Pension Corporation pensionsbc.ca/your-pension. If you have governance or other questions about your retiree benefits pleases contact the Municipal Retiree Benefit Trust contact@bcmrbt.ca.
